Ash
PENDANTS
NOK 900
In Norse mythology the ash is the world tree, Yggdrasil. The evergreen tree stands at the centre of the world, its branches reaching out across the whole earth and giving life to the bees. Ash itself has long been counted among the most valuable of European woods, and its name comes from the old word for spear, Askr. It has built ships, wheels, skis, tools and weapons. Jewellery in ash stands for strength and resilience, and for rebirth and renewal, and is a deep image of life itself. The pendant is small and light, and is at home both dressed up and every day.
