A pendant in the classic locket shape, pierced with the silhouette of a woman, an oak leaf and an acorn. In Norse and Celtic mythology these stand for the eternal cycle of life, and for the passages in a life where one thing has to be laid aside for another to grow — the way leaves must fall to feed the soil, so that new leaves, seeds and in turn new trees can come to be. It is a symbol of wisdom, strength and growth for whoever wears it. The piece is about remembering what we are and where we belong; the earth, our home, nature; that we are nature. It hangs on an adjustable cord of black leather. Made in 925 silver.
